Zipporah (Zaza) Weisberg
EDITOR
WRITING COACH
What I Do
I am a professional editor and writing coach. Over the years, I have edited Master's and PhD theses, memoirs, and academic books manuscripts. I have also served as a writing coach to students, professors, and professional authors.
As a professional academic and published author I know the struggles a person can face when trying to organise their thoughts on paper. Sometimes, to move forward, a supportive reader and commentator, someone to help give shape and structure to our writing, is needed. This is where I come in.
I bring true polish to whatever you are working on, whether it is a book manuscript, journal article or essay, master’s thesis, doctoral dissertation, or writing assignment. I can provide you with guidance on style, structure, and the mechanics of writing (grammar, syntax, etc.) and support you through all stages of the writing process. I can also help you prepare presentations and other academic assignments.
My Background
In 2013, I received my PhD in Social and Political Thought at York University (Toronto, Canada). After that, I completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Philosophy at Queen's University (Kingston, Canada).
Languages
I am fluent in English, my native language, as well as Spanish, French, and German.
Since 2001, when I received my TESL certification, I've put my language skills to use by teaching English to students from around the world.
